Sublimation Application Instructions


Sublimation on 15 oz. Mugs with a 3D Vacuum Heat Press Application Instructions
  1. Turn the 3D Vacuum Heat press on.
  2. Set the heating button so both the top and bottom heating lights are on.
  3. Set the Temperature to 392 degrees F (200 degrees C) and time to 8.5 minutes (510 seconds). Add 2 minutes (120 seconds) for each additional mug placed in the Vacuum Press.
  4. Print a mirror image onto Texprint Paper.
  5. Trim the edges of the image and wrap around mug.
  6. Attach the image to mug using transfer release tape.
  7. Wrap mug with mug wrap.
  8. Place the mug on its side on the wire rack within the press.
  9. Press vacuum button
  10. Press the time button
  11. At approximately 5 minutes, flip mug over so the opposite side is facing up in the vacuum press. Close the vacuum press and continue with the remaining time.
  12. Remove immediately once finished and peel hot. Use caution as mug will be very hot.
  13. Dip mug into warm water to cool and end the sublimation process
Sublimation on FRP Products Application Instructions
  1. Set temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Set timer to 60 seconds.
  3. Set Pressure at medium.
  4. Print a mirror image onto Texprint Paper. Image should be larger than the substrate.
  5. Place the substrate face down on the transfer paper and tape the paper to the substrate using transfer release tape.
  6. Put a blank sheet of paper on heat press platen to keep it clean.
  7. Place substrate face up on the heat press, with the transfer paper on top.
  8. Cover with a non stick sheet.
  9. Press at 400 degrees F for 60 seconds with medium pressure
  10. Remove immediately from press once finished and peel hot.
Sublimation on Metal Products Application Instructions
  1. Set temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Set timer to 1-3 minutes.
  3. Set Pressure at medium.
  4. Remove protective film from product.
  5. Print a mirror image onto Texprint Paper. Image should be larger than the substrate.
  6. Place the substrate face down on the transfer paper and tape the paper to the substrate using transfer release tape.
  7. Put a blank sheet of paper on heat press platen to keep it clean.
  8. Place substrate face down on the heat press (metal surface up).
  9. Cover with a non stick sheet.
  10. Press at 400 degrees F for 1-3 minutes with medium pressure
  11. Remove immediately from press once finished and peel hot.
